KiwiNet is excited to be a delivery partner for the first Women in Leadership Development (WILD) programme in New Zealand. WILD NZ offers ten women a six-month programme covering mentorship, Board experience, board room dynamics, finance, risk, and strategy.
Chair of KiwiNet, Ngaio Merrick says, “We have tremendous talent in New Zealand. It is entirely the right thing to equip more women from our STEM sectors with the capabilities to excel in leadership and take on active roles in governance.”
May Low, Operations Manager at KiwiNet, has been instrumental in putting together WILD NZ says building diversity and capability across research commercialisation is at KiwiNet’s core. “We are very pleased to deliver the WILD NZ programme and to help ensure greater involvement of women in STEM leadership roles. We are looking forward to working with each of these brilliant scientists and business leaders.”
The participating women include CEOs, start-up and technology founders, engineers, technology transfer specialists and deep tech investment managers. They have been selected by a judging panel from Angel Association New Zealand, Brandon Capital, Callaghan Innovation, KiwiNet and independents.
