As a member of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s Commercialisation Partner Network, KiwiNet administers PreSeed investment. PreSeed funding is used to turn science discoveries into commercially viable products and services.
Investment for Other Public Research Organisations
KiwiNet administers “non-devolved” PreSeed funding for those that don’t hold devolved contracts.
The goal of PreSeed is to support publicly funded research organisations to undertake early stage commercialisation activities.
Non-devolved PreSeed is specifically for publicly funded research organisations who do not hold a PreSeed contracts and has the additional goal of helping those organisations to build their commercialisation capabilities.
Application process:
- If you wish to apply for non-devolved funding you will require access to the Fluxx grant management system. To access this please Contact May Low at KiwiNet.
- All non-devolved funding applications are reviewed by the KiwiNet Investment Committee for approval.
- If an application is approved and funding is granted, recipients are required to submit quarterly and annual progress reports.
