Range Camera Tomography

The Range Camera Tomography technology is a non-contact, non-invasive technique for medical imaging. It is based on the use of optical tomography methods to shine modulated laser light onto biological tissue, then measuring the phase and intensity of scattered light using a range imaging camera. This method produces a three-dimensional image where varying light absorption and scattering represent different types of tissue. The technology offers an alternative to invasive or ionising methods for medical imaging.
